Internet Pioneer Makes A Startling Claim...

"You may be one simple 'tweak' away from spectacular financial success and not even know it."

Find out how simple, easily fixed Internet marketing mistakes are costing entrepreneurs millions of dollars in lost opportunities

Dear Internet colleague:

There are very, very few people who have been in the Internet business as long as I have - and I've seen it all...

I've seen good, hardworking people struggle and come up frustrated and empty handed. I've seen others achieve spectacular success, success beyond most people's wildest imaginings.

What makes the difference? After years of studying this question, I believe I've come up with the answer. An answer that could both shock and excite you once you grasp its full significance.

Who is this guy and how can he be so confident?

My name is Ken McCarthy. I staked my claim on the Internet in 1993. That was long before most people had even heard of it, let alone had any clue about what a fantastic cash machine it would turn into.

In 1994, I asked Marc Andreessen, the developer of the web broswer which kicked the Internet revolution into high gear, if he would join me at an event I was sponsoring in San Francisco. It was the FIRST conference ever held that focused exclusively on money making opportunities on the World Wide Web. On three hours of sleep, fortified by a Starbucks coffee with two shots of expresso in it, Marc drove his messy old Mustang 45 miles in the pouring rain to make sure he didn't miss it.

I wrote one of the first books on Internet entrepreneurship and the first one published in Japan. NEC, one of the biggest high tech companies in the world, was one of my clients. In 1994, I wrote the first article on e-mail marketing to appear in a recognized marketing journal and Hotwired credits me with being one of the people responsible for the development and popularization of the banner ad.

But quite frankly, none of this means squat

I was in a lot of different businesses before I discovered the Internet. And I can tell you, from my own personal experience, that there is no business that is more fun and that offers such personal freedom. The fact is most business owners are owned by their businesses - and there's nothing fun about that. But the Internet, more than any business I know, offers the opportunity to make maximum money with minimum hassle.

But the Internet business is not all roses. In fact, in some ways, it's the hardest business of all.

Why?

The business changes like lightening. People trying to play with yesterday's playbook often get trampled. That's not hype. That's reality.

The good news is that if you can keep up, you can leave bigger, better funded, even more experienced business competitors in the dust. You can find yourself stuffing your pockets with cash before they even know an opportunity exists. I know because I've been there and done it. More than once. And I've watched others do it, first hand. Not from reading books or magazine articles.

Here's how...

If there is any single skill that is absolutely necessary for Internet success, it's the ability to

Develop super-human Internet marketing "radar"

I laughed as I watched all the "dotcom" boneheads go down in flames. For a while there, it looked like they had it all: money, media attention, even glamour. But I knew it couldn't last.

In fact, in December of 1999, I published the first warning that Internet stock mania was virtually over and I warned all my clients to stop playing around with Internet shares. I was a few months early, but my timing was about as perfect as stock timing gets. I know several smart players - who should have known better - who stayed too long at the party and had instant losses in the six figures.

What does this have to do with developing super-human Internet marketing "radar"? Just this. I knew those companies were headed for a fall because they didn't have it. No amount of money, no amount of press, no amount of hype can overcome the absence of that one essential skill. And they just didn't have it.

But some people do. And

This is one of the great secrets of the business

Typically, the people who are doing the best in this business - the ones who are living the dream of maximum money with minimum hassle - are doing it quietly. Would you believe that as the US stock market is crashing many of my Internet students are having their best years ever? It's true. I know that I am and I can get a certified letter from my accountant if you'd like proof.

And I'm not the only one.

Unlike many of today's gurus, who brag about how much money they make, I seem to be the only one who can brag about how much my students' are making.

For example, here's a guy who came to me not long ago as a complete Internet marketing "newbie."

The Internet is an ideas business

This is the one business I know where ideas can be worth more than capital, more than brand name, more than experience. Lloyd had zero Internet experience when he got started, yet in short time he was - on a dollar basis - outperforming many of the Internet gurus without IPO money or PR hype.

So where do you get good Internet ideas? First, you start by making sure you don't have any wrong ideas. Faulty, half-baked information about Internet marketing has cost entrepreneurs like yourself millions, if not billions, in wasted effort and lost opportunity in recent years.

It's not that there's no good information out there. There is. But much of the best stuff is buried under deep piles of hype and confusion. Frankly, knowing what I know, I can't imagine how in the world I'd ever get started in this business today if I didn't have a helping hand to guide me.

And here's the big danger that is sinking more Internet dreams than another other single factor:

Virtually all of the conventional wisdom about Internet marketing is dead wrong

Remember, earlier in this letter, I said I'd have some information for you that could both shock and excite you. Well, it's pretty shocking when one of the industry's longest practicing experts comes out and says that everything you've been told about Internet marketing is probably wrong.

If you are one of the few people in the modern world who has not yet read a book on or attended a seminar about or heard an Internet consultant's sales pitch, let me pull back the curtain and let you in on the basics of the business.

First of all, it's not about clever web sites. Web sites exist for one reason and one reason only: to capture e-mail addresses and that's because e-mail is the oxygen of the Internet business.

You can survive with the simplest of Internet tools, but if you don't have a firm grasp of e-mail and how to use it to market, your Internet business will be dead in the water. In contrast, with nothing more than a good e-mail list, you can literally make a fortune overnight. I've seen it done - often. Frankly, it's no big deal if you know what you're doing.

"Advanced" tools

Internet advertising tools are equally straightforward.

In no particular order there's: a) pay-per click, b) search engine placement, c) selling through ezines and other people's opt in e-mail lists and d) selling through an affiliate network. That's pretty much it.

The fact is, Internet marketing is easy if you just know how. But knowing the names of the tools and how they work in general is not enough. Not even close. And that's where the books, seminars, and gurus fall down. They can tell you how the tools work, but they don't tell you how to use them!

This is like giving someone a tennis racquet, teaching them how to keep score, and then sending them out on the court to play a match against a seasoned pro. Without very specific, "nuts and bolts" type how-to training, you're going to get creamed. You may have already experienced this once or twice and are hoping to find a better way.

The better way is closer than most people can imagine.

Famous Internet author shares a secret...

I attended my first Internet training,
the Sept 2002 System Seminar,
a complete novice

"I had never heard of an autoresponder, HTML, or opt-in forms. That first seminar not only opened my eyes to the possibilities of the medium, but also gave me a blueprint and tools that I used to grow my business exponentially.

To go from novice to industry expert in 5 years, I have relied upon the System Seminar and the cutting edge information and impressive contacts I've made."

The cure

Let's dream a little together... What if you could literally step into the minds of some of the industry's most savvy pros and effortlessly extract the treasure chest of "know how" they've earned through their years of experience, trial and error, and cunning?

You'd know exactly what to do in any given Internet situation without wasting your time or money on wishful thinking or guesswork, wouldn't you? No consultant or techno-geek, or guru would ever be able to pull the wool over your eyes.

You'd be able to quickly sketch out a plan for any promotion, complete with all the necessary tools, what they should cost, and precisely how to use them. Within a day or so of coming up with an idea, you'd be set up to test it, inexpensively, to see if it had real promise.

Then, when you found a winner, you'd know exactly what to do in a crystal clear, step-by-step, "paint by numbers" way to roll your idea out so that is produces $1,000, $10,000, even $100,000 per month for you just like your own little private oil well. Guess what?

This is not a dream...

And you can get started making money like this with the net today.

I have clients who are already doing these numbers now. Beginners with less than a year in the business. And most of them are modest enough to admit they are not geniuses. Heck, I'm no genius either and I'm not sure if I've ever met one.

But I have met people who know how to seize an opportunity when it's presented to them. These same people know that cold, hard facts and hard core "know how" is the source of wealth, not positive thinking, wishful thinking, or even thinking out of the box.

Conducted in a guru-free zone, Ken's master class in marketing is an interactive research lab

"... that compels you to: focus on your mission, perfect your sales process, test new techniques and deliver value.

Beginning marketers learn how to start and market a web-based business.

Intermediate to experienced marketers offer to share their successes and failures with other students.

You'll walk out with fresh perspectives, new contacts and an action plan to take your business to the place where you really need to be."

The last time I felt I had something important enough to say to write a letter like this was back in 1994 when I invited thousands of people to learn about the World Wide Web directly from Marc Andreessen. He's the guy who, more than any other single person, was responsible for transforming the Internet into a multi-multi-billion dollar marketplace. Only a lucky few had the insight to see that it was worth an investment of their time.

It's 2008 and I invite you to join me on the next wave of opportunity. The really big one.

Fifteen years ago, we were struggling to get people interested in the Internet. The market wasn't just small. It was non-existent. What's happened since that historic meeting has gone beyond the wild imagination of even the most optimistic of the original pioneers.

Your personal key to this kingdom

Like you may feel now, I too was frustrated with the level of Internet marketing education available to the public. Not only that, I have clients, relatives, and friends who are trying to learn this business, and I frankly don't have the time to take each one by the hand and show them how it really works.

I decided to do something about it so I called some of my favorite Internet people to help me put together what's been missing for a long, long time:

...A training designed specifically to turn beginners and others who are finding their way and turn them into real Internet marketing pros - fast.

The key to creating a training like this is selecting the right faculty.

Here's the criteria I used:

First, I wanted pros who were "dollars and cents" successful selling real products and services not just Internet "how to" material. That eliminated a lot of candidates right away.

Second, I wanted entrepreneurs who started with no special financial advantages. Sure it's easy to look smart (for a while at least) when you start with millions of dollars of investors' money. No, I wanted guys who had started from scratch with next to nothing and built their fortunes by plowing their profits back in their businesses.

Third, I wanted experts who were especially skilled in one of the major Internet marketing tools. The Internet has gotten more sophisticated and the days are gone when any one guy could know it all.

Here's what one of our students says...

I have come away with great, great ideas

"Ken, I wanted to drop you a quick note and express my appreciation and make some comments about your System.

Why do I go?

1. I get taught by a carefully chosen faculty.

2. I am exposed to the newest and the brightest.

3. Both System events I have attended I have come away with great, great ideas. Some are simply day to day "tweaks" (which can be worth a lot of money sometimes). Occasionally a light goes off with a real barn burner.

In short, the atmosphere, the people, the education and the stimulation.

You are a good man to invest in."

Fourth, I wanted people who would be willing to talk frankly. Here's a flash bulletin: There are a lot of people who are very good at making money who would normally never dream of sitting down with you and explain how they are doing it - for all the obvious reasons.

Fifth, I wanted speakers who have not been spoiled by the seminar circuit.

Here's who I came up with.

Ken McCarthy - How to find hot online opportunities and build a real, bullet-proof business.

Creator of the System. Ken sponsored and organized the first seminar ever held on the subject of web marketing in 1994.

One of the first direct marketers to see the potential of the web, Ken's students and colleagues played formative roles in some of the Internet's biggest success stories: Netscape (Marc Andreessen), Yahoo (Ed Niehaus), Amazon (Steve O'Keefe), and HotWired (Rick Boyce).

James Martell - SEO and affiliate marketing

James Martell is a self taught Internet entrepreneur and Natural search and affiliate marketing expert who discovered the lucrative world of pay-for-performance marketing from his desktop computer in the fall of 1999.

Through Internet-based affiliate programs James and his wife Arlene have been able to very comfortably raise their fours kids, travel the world, livein a beautiful home and achieve a 25 year dream to own a custom crafted 1965 Shelby Cobra.

Since 2001 James Martell has been teaching students how to be successful online with affiliate programs. Many have gone on to great success from his ebooks, podcasts, live classes and online trainings.

Kristie McDonald - SEO and online stores

Kristie McDonald is a mom of three kids, a wife and an entrepreneur.

She started in the eCommerce business when she got sick and tired of the corporate drudgery she faced in her career as an IT Consultant. Despite her love of consulting, working for someone else had taken all of the excitement out of that career.

Her first eCommerce idea, Radio Controlled Cars, came from her husband's love of racing. Seeing the RC enthusiasts first hand, she had an instinct that this market would be extremely passionate about their hobby and that makes for a great audience!

Choosing her husband's hobby had an added benefit - it has become a true family business and this family has a lot of fun running the business together.

Now Kristie has taken her success as an eCommerce store owner and her prior career as a technology consultant and merged the two. She helps beginners and small business owners to Get Started and Get Customers.

Howie Jacobson - AdWords and conversion

Howie Jacobson, PhD, the author of AdWords For Dummies, is an online marketing strategist and coach. He specializes in helping clients use Google AdWords to cut their lead generation costs and increase their bottom line. He also presents at workshops and seminars around the world.

He is the creator of Leads into Gold, a home study course that teaches small business owners how to become their own direct marketing agencies, and co-creator of The System Seminar's home study course, Internet Marketing for Smart Beginners. He also runs Loweryourbidprice.com, LLC, a company that produces software tools to help AdWords advertisers save time, reduce costs and increase profits.

Cindy Kappler - The ultimate Internet marketing tool kit

Cindy made the leap from corporate America to Internet marketing in 2003. She is the co-creator of several products, including the SYSTEM Smart Beginners Home Study Course for Internet Marketers. She has also created several of her own niche products.

Cindy has a passion for teaching and has spent the last year working with Smart Beginners students to help them get their online businesses up and running. Ken McCarthy has even entrusted her to run the SYSTEM Smart Beginners coaching programs.

Cindy spends her free time chasing after her five children and serving as a consultant to a local K-8 charter school. She finds Internet marketing to be an excellent way to balance being an entrepreneur/business owner and a full-time mom.

In the last few months I've sat down with each one of these remarkable people one-on-one for a series of intense, no hold barred brainstorming about what they're going to be offering at the Smart Beginners Boot Camp.

Here's just some of the things we're going to be covering at the System Smart Beginners Boot Camp:

how many follow ups should you send e-mail to an inquiry... how you can prevent being falsely accused of spamming and what to do if you ever are...

how to beat the search engines and drive lucrative traffic to your site free without having to hire the services of expensive software engineers ... how to write ad copy that sticks in people's minds like a popular song so they can't get your offer out of their mind ... what you can sell on the Internet other than products and advertising that can make you tons of easy money

how to get other people to sell for you at their own expense... how to build a huge affiliate sales network super-fast... what you need to test before you even think about launching an affiliate network... the signs that show you've got a huge winner on your hands... the one thing you absolutely must get straight about affiliate marketing that not one company in one hundred seems to understand...

Surprisingly, The Smart Beginners Boot Camp will be valuable to both kinds of people. I will make sure we stay on solid ground throughout the seminar. No blue sky projections, no technical double talk, no theoretical "what ifs?" And no pitching!

"Star Wars" designer turns Internet pro

If you have never been to an Internet marketing event, this is THE event to go to

"In 2003 I attended my first System Seminar in San Francisco and it literally changed my life. After that event, as a direct result from that event, my income tripled! The connections I made there, and the speakers I listened to and talked to one on one helped me to focus my online business.

If you have never been to an internet marketing event, this is THE event to go to."

There will be many personal fortunes made in the next few years on the Internet. Unlike the razzle-dazzle hype-driven "dotcoms" of the "go go" 90s, these will be quiet and solid fortunes that won't disappear with the first stiff breeze.

Unlike almost any other business I know, the Internet gives you the option of building the business around your life style.

Some of my colleagues are highly ambitious and are building empires for themselves complete with big staffs and "liquidity" events totally in the seven, eighh and even nine figures. (That last one is $100,000,000+ folks. It's doable and one of my favorite Internet friends is working with a small team of obsessives who are closing in on that number. No hype. They've already sold one company for $91,000,000.)

But you can also take the laid back approach and be content with a simple, easy-to-run business that gives you plenty of time to goof off and a fat pay check.

The decision is yours.

I've made this as easy as humanly possible

Speaking of decisions, you've got a decision to make. Do I play this game for real or not? I sincerely hope if you are in the game or thinking about getting in, that you make the decision to do it for real because it will make all the difference in the world.

No one can guarantee you success, especially in the wild and woolly world of the Internet, but I can and do guarantee that The Smart Beginners Bootcamp is like nothing you've ever come across before. It is deeper, broader, more detailed, more wide ranging, more practical and more immediately useable than anything on the market today.

That's a pretty strong claim so let me back it up with something real: money.

Here it is: Attend the Saturday morning sessions. Right before lunch, if you're not completely blown away, quietly tell one of the registration staff, turn in your manual and name tag and you will receive an instant, full and cheerful refund, no questions asked and no hard feelings.

You won't be risking a thing - I will

Not only that, but before you even come to the Boot Camp, you're going to receive a complete pre-seminar home study course so that you can get started making progress right away.

Plus you'll get access to the System Club and one of the Internet marketing world's best Forums.

And as if that weren't enough, after the Boot Camp, you'll receive free coaching to help you implement everything you learned.

Test Drive the Boot Camp before you even arrive

All attendees will receive the complete System Smart Beginners home study course, currently selling for $495.00 (will be shipped to you)

You will get instant access to the System Smart Beginners forum, the best organized clearinghouse for practical Internet marketing

Free membership and access to all member benefits of the System Club for 90 days - a $285.00 value

As an attendee of this training you get three full months of Smart Beginners coaching - free!

If you're still not sure what to do, consider this...

Where else can you go to train with a fifteen year Internet marketing veteran...his hand picked Faculty of close collegues... plus a complete pre-Boot Camp home study course and access to one of the Internet marketing world's best how-to archives and forums...PLUS post-seminar coaching for one low price?

Live long and prosper,

Ken McCarthy

P.S. Why is this program being made available at such a reasonable price when others that offer so much less are are so expensive? Purely selfish reasons I assure you. I like having customers for life.

P.P.S. Don't delay. Registration for this event is limited to 97 people and once we start getting the word out, it will sell out fast.
